1. Get Help from Milk and Honey

Whole milk and honey are the two wonderful ingredients which not only help in getting rid of pimples but also even out the skin tone as well. Simply take a tablespoon each of milk and honey and mix them together. Apply the mixture on your face and let it sit for 15 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.

 

Similarly you can also apply the mixture in layers. The second layer should be applied only when the first one dries off a bit. You can scrub off this mask with the help of your fingers while moving them in a circular motion. In the end, splash some cold water on your face and pat it dry.

If you don’t have whole milk available, you can use yogurt as well.

2. Apply Egg Whites

Attacked by a pimple? Don’t worry. Just open your refrigerator and take out 2 eggs. You will just be needing the egg whites, so separate them from the yolks. Whip up the whites in a bowl and apply them on your face with the help of a brush or even with your fingers. Let the mixture dry off completely before removing it with the help of a washcloth dipped in some warm water.

Application of egg whites twice or thrice a week will help you in getting rid of acne. The proteins present in the egg whites absorb any excess oil present on your skin. They take care of the clogged up pores as well.

3. Make a Sugar Scrub

Sugar is the best exfoliator present in the kitchen. When you mix it up with other ingredients and apply it on your face, you can get rid of pimples soon.

For this scrub, take 1 ½ cups each of white and brown sugar, 2 tbsp salt, ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil and 10 tbsp of vanilla extract. Mix together the sugars and the salt. Put the mixture in a jar and pour in the olive oil from the top. Let the mixture soak up the oil and then mix it. Pour in the vanilla essence from the top to give your scrub a nice fragrance.

You can simply apply this scrub in a circular motion on your face with smooth fingers. Massage for a few minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It will remove all the dead skin and the black and white heads which are responsible for the outbreak of pimples on your skin.

4. Take Steam

You can get rid of acne and pimples through steam. Simply take a pot of boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and place your face near the bowl. Take in the steam for 10 to 15 minutes. It will open up your pores and will remove all the impurities present inside your skin. Once you are done, pat your face dry and splash some cold water on your face to close the pores.

 

5. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a great astringent. Simply mix 1 part of ACV with 3 parts of water and apply it directly on the pimple with the help of a cotton ball. You can let the mixture be on your skin for at least 10 minutes or overnight. You can try this remedy several times a day or until you get rid of the pimple.

6. Grab a Papaya

Raw papaya is a great remedy for getting rid of pimples. Simply mash up some papaya and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes to get its maximum benefit. Wash it off with warm water and pat your skin dry.

7. Take Help from the Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is amazing when it comes to different home remedies. It also deals with pimples and acne effectively by working on even the deepest layer of your skin. Before applying tea tree oil, make sure that your face is clean. Mix 1 teaspoon of it with 9 of water. Apply it directly on the pimple with the help of a cotton ball. And wash your face 15 minutes later.

 

8. Use Baking Soda

Baking soda is an essential skin care item. You can apply it on your face in the form of a mask as well as a scrub. For the mask, mix equal parts of it with water and massage it on your face in a circular motion for a few minutes. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water.

To use it in the form of a scrub, take ½ cup of baking soda and 1/8 cup of water and mix them. Apply it on your face with your fingers and massage for 5 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. 9. Get Help from Oatmeal

To use oatmeal on your skin, prepare it in just the same way as you would for your breakfast, that is, by adding water in it. Add in 2 tablespoons of honey while the oatmeal is still piping hot. Let it cool down to the room temperature. Leave it on your skin for at least 30 minutes for an effective result. Wash it off with warm water and pat your skin dry.

10. Apply Green Tea

While oral consumption of green tea is great for your internal system, its topical application is good for your skin as well. Take ½ a cup of water and a tea bag of green tea. Put the tea bag in a bowl and pour the boiling water on it. Cover and let it seep for a few minutes. Apply the green tea with the help of a cotton ball on your face. You can also save the remaining mixture in a spray bottler and spritz it on your face whenever needed.

11. Honey and Avocado Mask

Avocado and honey, both are loaded with some amazing nutrients which help in fighting against the acne breakout.

Simply take an avocado and mash its pulp. Add in a tablespoon of honey and mix it with the avocado. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash your face with normal tap water and pat it dry.

12. Garlic

Garlic is one of the best anti-bacterial foods which nature has given us. You can get rid of pimples by mashing up a few cloves of garlic and soaking them in some water for a few minutes.
